GCFD 3's Talley retires

QUINCY – Grant County Fire District 3 put out a statement that Michele Talley, the assistant fire chief and fire marshal has retired. Her final day of work was Aug. 30. 

GCFD3 wants to wish her a heartfelt appreciation for her outstanding dedication to the fire district. The statement says that her “unwavering commitment to the district and dedication to fire prevention and education have made a profound impact on our community.”  

The statement highlights her leadership and efforts to make sure the community is safe. GCFD3 said they will miss her presence, but they are excited for her as she embarks on a new chapter of life.
