Two teens hit by suspected drunk driver

QUINCY – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a collision in the 8500 block of Road T-Northwest on Monday night, according to a release from GCSO. 


Two Quincy youths were seriously injured when they were struck by a suspected drunk driver. The two 13-year-old boys were walking on the shoulder of the road when they were struck from behind by a 2006 Honda Accord. The vehicle was driven by Rene Dominguez Molina, 25, of Quincy. The vehicle left the road and struck the ditch and a mailbox. 


The boys sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries. They were both transported to Confluence Health Central Campus in Wenatchee.  


Dominquez Molina was arrested on suspicion of DUI and two counts of vehicular assault. He was booked into Grant County Jail. The Grant County Sheriff’s Motor Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
