MOSES LAKE — Contractors for the Washington Department of Transportation will be working on signal lights along State Route 17 in Moses Lake and Quincy this week.

Work is scheduled during the day and at night, according to a WSDOT press release, as crews update and replace traffic light components. Daytime work will require closures of the shoulder and right turn lanes, while the night work will mean lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic.

Crews will be working on the Wheeler Road and Broadway Avenue intersections with SR 17 during the day Oct. 31, and at the Stratford offramp Nov. 1.

SR 28 in Quincy and SR 17 in Moses Lake are scheduled for nighttime work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. three days this week.

SR 28 at the intersection of Central Avenue South and SR 281 in Quincy is scheduled for work Monday night. Crews will be back for nighttime work on SR 17 at Frontage Road on Oct. 29 and at Yonezawa Boulevard on Oct. 30.
