Congressional, State Treasurer candidates campaign in Ephrata
Legion Post 28 President Mike Montaney hosted the forum. “First of all, I want to let everybody know that we do this as a service to the community,” Montaney said. “The American Legion is non-partisan, nonpolitical. Technically we are political, but we are very non-partisan. We don't get involved in personal races. We don't get involved in parties. Where our politics goes is veterans benefits and national security, and we talk about how we treat everybody equally when we're lobbying for these efforts. “

EPHRATA – Multiple candidates from various races attended a local forum hosted at the American Legion Post 28 on Wednesday. One candidate for the Fourth U.S. Congressional District and for Washington State Treasurer showed up.
