Junior Mavericks take the field
The fourth-grade Junior Mavericks football team takes on Kennewick in the Columbia Basin Youth Football playoffs on Saturday. Kennewick won the game 21-6.

MOSES LAKE – Three Junior Maverick teams, competing with Columbia Basin Youth Football, began the postseason Saturday.
The fourth and sixth grade Junior Mavericks both played at Lions Field, falling to Kennewick 21-6 and Richland 19-13, respectively. The seventh grade team lost 55-43 on the road against Pendleton. The eighth grade Junior Mavericks earned a first-round bye and begin the postseason next Saturday.
