Confluence announces telehealth services expansion
WENATCHEE — Confluence Health patients will have access to additional telehealth services beginning today.
The KeyCare system will allow patients to access telehealth services and have the information added to their medical records. Josh Wood, Confluence vice president of digital engagement, said the KeyCare platform ties in with Confluence’s existing electronic medical records system.
“It offers video visits for on-demand care 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, from anywhere in Washington state,” Wood said.
Confluence also has added other digital options for patients including Care Companion, which helps people manage chronic disease, according to a Confluence press release. The telehealth options can be accessed using MyChart, Confluences online patient portal.
The system automatically adds information from a virtual visit to the patient’s existing medical records, the release said.
“Our goal is to continue delivering health care while prioritizing patient options, convenience and safety, all the while helping staff and providers to better balance and structure patient caseloads,” wrote Confluence CEO Dr. Andrew Jones in the release.
