MOSES LAKE – The Moses Lake Police Department Street Crimes Unit received a search warrant for a residence on West Ridge Road in Moses Lake on Oct. 17. The investigation was in regard to a narcotics investigation into Curtis Terry, 38, Moses Lake, according to an MLPD press release.

When officers arrived, Terry’s wife, Carey Larson, 39, Moses Lake and their 5-year-old child were in the residence. According to MLPD, investigators found narcotics and items associated with the distribution of narcotics in the residence.

Given the observations by the MLPD SCU and the items located in the residence, Child Protective Services was contacted in regard to the five-year-old in the residence. CPS determined that they were going to remove the child from the home. The child later tested positive for methamphetamine and received treatment for medical issues.

Both Terry and Larson were arrested and booked for Child Endangerment with a Controlled Substance. Terry also has recommended charges for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
