Ephrata 

Oct. 10 

Report of burglary in 700 block of L Street SE.  

Report of collision at Basin Street SW. Vehicle one struck vehicle two’s driver side while making a left turn. Reportable damage to both vehicles. 

Report of three subjects arriving at a residence and wanting to engage in physical altercation in 400 block 6th Avenue SE. Subjects left prior to police arrival. 

Oct. 11 

Report of collision on Division Avenue E and A street NE.  

Report of drugs given to employee by customer. Retrieved and placed in evidence for destruction.  

Report of suspect stealing from business on Nat Washington Way. Suspect taken into custody and booked on two burglary charges and second-degree theft.  

Oct. 12 

Report of suspect riding motorcycle wheelies on third Avenue SW. Suspect was arrested and booked for reckless driving, second-degree trespassing and eluding police.  

Oct. 13 

Report of dog bite to juveniles. Juvenile went to Columbia Basin Hospital. Dog seized for ten-day hold. 

Oct. 14 

Report of unresponsive female at Third Avenue NE. Soap Lake Police Department responded and EPD showed up afterwards. Narcan and CPR administered.  

Report of marijuana drug paraphernalia in dumpster in 400 block of Basin Street NW. 

Report of collision on Third Avenue SW and Basin Street SW. Vehicle and pedestrian collision. Pedestrian transported via LifeLine Ambulance. 

Oct. 16 

Report of a collision at Division and Alder streets. Vehicle one attempted to turn east and hit vehicle two. Vehicle one said she didn’t see vehicle two. 

Moses Lake 

Oct. 5 

Report of someone trying to steal vehicle storage rack from reporting party’s property on W Polo Ridge Drive. Suspect and vehicle caught on camera and will be charged for third-degree theft. 

Report of DUI on E Broadway Avenue. Suspect had three children in vehicle and was cited for DUI. 

Report of vehicle prowl on N Grape Drive. Items taken include a pistol, folding knife, fixed blade knife and playing cards. Suspect unknown at this time but reporting party would like to pursue charges. 

Report of Grant County Sheriff’s Office locating stolen vehicle at parking lot on N Stratford Road. 

Report of gang members throwing up gang signs at juvenile. Suspects punched juvenile and fled store. Juvenile’s mother witnessed assault and said she would press charges on his behalf. Unknown suspects left prior to police arrival. 

Oct. 6 

Report of subject being punched by unknown suspect at Gorge Campground. 

Report of subjects overdosing behind business on S Pioneer Way. Officers found one subject had fallen and was unresponsive. Both subjects declined assistance. 

Report of theft of $4,300 fluorescent orange transition spire mountain bike. Reporting party stated someone went into garage and stole bike. No camera footage or suspect at this time. 

Report of two reporting parties having their purses stolen during vehicle prowl at McCosh Park. Suspect broke window to gain access. No suspect at this time. 

Oct. 7 

Report of vehicle prowl at apartment on N Evelyn Drive. Reporting party witnessed suspect in vehicle removing items and placing them in his backpack. Suspect left area on foot.  

Report of snow blower stolen off porch on W Crest Drive. 

Report of suspect attempting to flee from officers on bicycle. Suspect located and booked for local felony warrant and drug charges. 

Report of altercation at Straw Belly’s Maze by middle school students. Students continued harassing student. Parents were advised of court orders and other safety options. 

Report of candy theft from store on N Stratford Road. Suspect also attempted to steal liquor which broke in store.  

Report of theft of items over weekend at N Sandy Loop including: one toilet tank, one overflow trim, three lab faucets, one kitchen faucet, one air gap, one tub shower trim, one shower trim, and one expansion tank totaling around $770. 

Oct. 8 

Report of around $100 worth of gas stolen from bus on S Juniper Drive. 

Report of cold assault at Frontier Middle School. Victim taken to Samaritan Urgent Care. Parents requesting to pursue criminal charges against suspect. Suspect disciplined by school admin per school policy. 

Report of two vehicles hitting one another when backing out of parking spots at business on N Stratford Road. 

Report of driving incident between two vehicles on S Division Street. Driver of vehicle one threw change out of vehicle and damaged windshield of second vehicle. 

Report of dumpster set on fire at around 11 p.m. on W Broadway Avenue with unknown suspect. Reporting party asked for extra patrols. 

Report of car hitting reporting party’s neighbor’s vehicle and driving off on W Loop Drive. Another caller said that car hit curb and was stuck. Suspect was cited for driving without insurance, third-degree driving with license suspended and hit and run unattended.  

Oct. 9 

Report that reporting party saw man steal her neighbor’s pop up trailer on S Grand Drive. Pictures provided of suspect.
