Weather for the week of Oct. 14, 2024
The Northern Lights illuminate the sky over Moses Lake Thursday night. The rare sight was the result of a solar storm, according to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and could be seen as far south as Arizona.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 70. Overnight, a 50% chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48.
Wednesday: A 50% chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Partly cloudy overnight with a low around 37 and a 20% chance of showers.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58 and a 20% chance of showers. Partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 35 and 20% chance of showers.
Friday: A 30% chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
