Reports below were provided by the sheriff’s office or police department indicated. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Ephrata PD 

Sept. 26 

Report of burglary in 1600 block of C Street SW. Reporting party advised suspect was breaking into neighbor's garage via doggy door and left in a black vehicle.  

Report of suspicious male sweeping on 4th Avenue SW. Suspect contacted said he was cleaning leaves and debris from curbing and moving along.  

Report of a collision in 100 block of Basin Street NW. Vehicle two stopped for red light and vehicle one rear-ended.  

Sept. 27 

Report of theft in 100 block C Street SW. Reporting party is moving and had suspect help her move things, suspect took Instapot, instrument and other items without permission. Reporting party would just like things back.  

Sept. 28 

Report of collision in 200 block of C Street SW. Vehicle one failed to yield right of way at stop sign and struck vehicle two. Vehicle one towed, vehicle two was not. 

Report of suspect trying to steal from business on Nat Washington Way. Suspect walked past point of sale with cart full of items. Suspect contacted in parking lot and placed under arrest. 

Report of DUI on Basin Street NW. Driver cited for driving with license suspended, no insurance and open container. Two passengers cited for open containers too. 

Report of theft at store, suspect stole bottle of alcohol. Vehicle plate given, mom of suspect said son admitted to theft.  

Report of neighbor not breathing, no pulse. Reporting party’s husband started CPR, Grant County Sheriff's Office and fire department assisted. Life Flight transported subject.  

Report of assault after road rage incident on Pioneer Ave SE. Two subjects exited vehicle and one punched reporting party two times in face.  

Report of shots fired at 3rd Avenue SE. Found suspect shot some rounds into air. Grant County Sheriff’s Office handled case. 

Sept. 30 

Report of one-vehicle, no-injury collision Airport Street. Vehicle failed to make curve, left roadway and struck several rocks in ditch. 

Report of collision at Ephrata High School, non-injury.  

Report of attempted vehicle theft on E Street NE, no power to vehicle but suspect did damage steering column and ignition.  

Delayed report of collision on 4th Avenue NW. While reporting party’s daughter was in school, the vehicle was hit.  

Oct. 1 

Report of vehicle fire in alley of 300 block Seventh Avenue SW. Minor damage to neighbor's property. 

Report of longboard and vehicle collision on Basin Street. EPD contacting nearby businesses for video. 

Oct. 2 

Report of graffiti behind business. Juveniles ran away and entered nearby apartment.

Sept. 26 

Jesus Diaz Salvador, 31, Mattawa booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and third-degree malicious misconduct.  

Richard B Reeves, 38, Moses Lake, booked on Grant County Superior Court Warrant for second-degree assault with deadly weapon.  

Sept. 27 

Travis Ray Gross, 32, Moses Lake, booked on second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.  

Jacob Allen Falagan, 31, Othello, booked on Grant County District Court warrant for DUI.

Sept. 29 

Ricard Byron Crozier, 52, Moses Lake, booked on first-degree driving with license suspended, operating vehicle without ignition interlock and District Court Warrant for DUI, operating a vehicle without ignition interlock and second-degree driving with license suspended.  

Sept. 30 

Richard Byron Crozier, 51, Moses Lake, booked on first-degree driving with license suspended, operating vehicle without ignition interlock and District Court Warrant for driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and second-degree driving with license suspended.  

Oct. 1 

Miguel Angi Armenta Ponce, 20, Moses Lake, booked on first-degree unlawful possession of firearm.  

Robert Williams Bailey, 53, Moses Lake, booked on Grant County Superior Court Warrant for second-degree assault – domestic violence. 

Ismael Damian Alvarez, 33, Othello, booked on Grant County District Court Warrant for false statement to police and third-degree theft. 

Francisco Olivos Vazquez, 36, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence. 

Michael James Clune, 47, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault.  

Oct. 2 

Christina Fay Garcia, 42, Moses Lake, booked on third-degree assault, second-degree criminal trespassing and resisting arrest. 

Armando Guerra Avila, 51, Royal City, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence. 

Brittany Lee Jordan, 31, Ephrata, booked on Grant County Superior Court bench warrant for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.  

Oct. 3 

Juan Castro, 34, Desert Aire, booked on first-degree assault with firearm or deadly weapon.
