Grant County Health District update
One of the two brands of ground cinnamon recalled for potential lead contamination by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

MOSES LAKE – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recalled El Servidor Corp and Gutierrez Ground Cinnamon due to possible lead contamination. According to the Grant County Health District, short-term exposure to lead may not cause any symptoms. However, if ingested by young children it can cause adverse health effects. The FDA recommends disposing of the product.
