Ephrata PD
Nov. 21
Report of suspect speeding. Suspect was cited for driving with license suspended and issued infraction for driving 37 in a 25. Suspect released not to drive.
Report of reporting person scammed out of approximately $13,000 cash. Reporting person has contacted the bank and advised by bank.
Report of found property at Division Avenue W. Owner of the purse had been in the business earlier and left it behind. Owner was contacted via Ephrata Police Dept and picked up purse.
Report of two subjects using an axe and a sword to break televisions in Lee Park. Suspects contacted and stated they were making a video. Suspects told the activity was alarming and not to be done on city property. Suspects apologized and cleaned up mess.
Report of two juvenile shoplifters. Both suspects previously trespassed from business on Nat Washington Way. Report to be sent to prosecution for burglary.
Nov. 22
Report of suspicion of DUI on State Route 282 at the roundabout. Suspect was seen driving from Moses Lake to Ephrata and going between center lines. Officer witnessed suspect going across lines and stopped them. Did testing on suspect and released to boyfriend.
Nov. 23
Report of overdose at business on Basin Street SW. Subject came out of it upon police arrival. EMS checked subject.
Report of theft at business on Basin Street SW. Suspect grabbed bottle of liquor and moved off camera with backpack. Suspect left empty-handed but liquor missing from shelf.
Nov. 25
Report of theft. Female suspect ditched her cart when confronted. Reporting person to provide video.
Nov. 26
Report of overdose in 1200 block of C Street SW. EPD administered Narcan. Narcan was effective and subject was treated by EMS on scene.
Report of theft of package in 10 block of Crest Drive.
Report of possible DUI on Basin Street NW. Reporting party said there was an erratic driver.
Report of theft at business on Nat Washington Way. Suspect fled the store.
Report of unknown suspects stealing several packages on 3rd Avenue SE.
Moses Lake PD
Nov. 23
Report of burglary at church. Officers located suspect and booked him for second-degree burglary, third-degree malicious misconduct and obstruction of police.
Report of vehicle theft on S Division Street.
Report of silver GMC Acadia selling puppies at business on North Stratford Road business parking lot.
Report of jewelry theft at residence on S Alder Street. Suspect located and arrested for first-degree robbery, second-degree theft and third-degree malicious misconduct.
Report of cold theft at business on N Stratford Road.
Report of shots fired at residence on W Basin Street and S Schneirla Avenue. Casings located at scene. The residence also had bullet holes and bullets were recovered inside residence. Nobody injured.
Report of vehicle hitting employee in parking lot at business on N Stratford Road. Employee did not get license plate and it is unknown who the vehicle or driver are.
Nov. 24
Report of suspect arrested on W Broadway Ave for DUI. Report processed and suspect released to spouse.
MLPD helped Moses Lake Fire Department with a cardiac arrest.
Report of victim’s Evercross e-scooter stolen on E Nelson Road. Scooter valued at $1,000. Victim wished to pursue charges.
Report of bike ditched in bushes at apartment complex at E 9th Avenue. The bike is a green Huffy and logged for safekeeping.
Report of unknown suspect stealing two six packs of beer from business on S. Pioneer Way.
Report of stolen U-Haul van located. Suspect booked into Grant County Jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
Report of theft in process at business on N. Stratford Road. Police responded and suspect was trespassed, no charges.
Report of traffic collision on N Stratford Road. Police responded and determined the accident happened on private property. A red pickup backed into the parked Tesla. Police helped with information exchange, nothing further.
Report of manager of business on E. Broadway Avenue confronting female suspect who was stealing. Reporting person got the items back and asked for suspect to be trespassed, no charges to be pursued.
Reporting person continues to call and say her neighbor is pointing a firearm at her. Reporting person has called and reported the same thing for multiple nights.
Nov. 25
Report of overdose on N Central Drive. Subject seen by paramedics and left the area.
Report of someone stabbed on Grape Drive NE. Suspect arrested for second-degree assault – domestic violence.
Report of collision on Gumwood Street. Driver two was speeding and driver one failed to yield the right of way.
Report of male suspect stealing three packs of Pokémon cards and he was stopped by asset protection.
Report of MLPD assisting Grant County Sheriff’s Office with a death investigation.
Report of MLPD assisting Secret Service with contacting a female suspect who made threats to a political figure online.
Report of male suspect stealing two bottles of whiskey and 12 pack of twisted tea alcohol from store on N. Stratford Road. Value of items was $65.50. Male contacted and returned whiskey. Male permanently trespassed and charged to be filed for third-degree theft.
Report of two-vehicle non-injury collision on N. Stratford Road.
Nov. 26
Report of vehicle prowl on N Central Drive. Around $60 worth of items taken. Reporting persons’ father and brother found two subjects in the area. No suspects found.
Report of two male suspects trespassing at school on Nat Washington Way. The suspects to be trespassed if identified.
Report of two-vehicle collision on Basin Street. Vehicle one collided with vehicle two. Both vehicles were able to drive away from scene.

Brian Scott Massey, 36, Moses Lake, booked on two counts of felony harassment and Grant County District Court warrants for failing to appear on cases regarding third-degree malicious misconduct and second-degree vehicle prowling.
Uriel Mendieta Camacho, 28, Quincy, booked on Grant County District Court warrants for failing to appear on cases regarding two counts of fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Gabriel J Carcia De Leon, 31, Moses Lake, booked on second degree criminal trespassing and Grant County District Court warrants for failing to appear on cases regarding two counts of third-degree driving with license suspended and two counts of no valid operating license.
