WILSON CREEK – Both the Devil boys and girls' basketball teams will look to improve on their finishings last season when the 2024-25 season tips off next month.

Wilson Creek’s boys' basketball team finished with a 6-9 record, sixth place in the CWB in the Central Washington B standings. The Devils reached the CWB district tournament but fell to Riverside Christian in the opening round. The Devils swept both games against Cascade Christian and Thorp last season and defeated Pateros and Entiat.

The lone senior for the Devils last season was Zane McMillan, who received second-team all-league honors last winter.

For the girls’ basketball team, the Devils finished fifth in the league standings with a 6-7 overall record. In the opening round of the CWB district tournament, Wilson Creek saw its season come to an end with a loss to Soap Lake.

The Devils swept MLCA/CCS, Riverside Christian and Cascade Christian last season to account for their six wins.

Wilson Creek only had one senior graduate off of last season’s roster and will return second-team all-leaguer Neeley Odorizzi.
