Ephrata

Nov. 15

Report of trespassing in the 200 block of G Street NW. Reporting party said her ex entered the resident during the day and took items. Reporting party wants suspect trespassed.

Report of traffic collision on A Street SE. Case was passed to Washington State Patrol.

Report of collision on 14th Avenue SW and Basin Street SW. Both vehicles were merging onto Basin Street at the time of collision.

Report of hit and run collision in 10 block F Street NE. Reporting party said another vehicle hit his vehicle and continued to travel toward Division. Driver contacted and said they did not know they hit another vehicle.

Nov. 16

Report of several calls of multiple gunshots, around 20, heard around 2480 Basin SW. Police checked the area and found 25 shot fireworks by the entrance of a business.

Nov. 17

Report of traffic accident in the area of 3rd Avenue NE and A Street NE. Reporting party said the vehicle off the edge of the hill in the area. Vehicle was gone on police arrival.

Report of two vehicle injury collision on State Route 282. Referred to Washington State Patrol.

Report of traffic accident in 1300 block of Nat Washington Way. Driver one departed scene after exchanging information with driver two.

Nov. 18

Report of trespassing in the 1100 block of Basin Street SW. Reporting party said suspect looked to be trying to commit identity fraud and wanted suspect trespassed.

Report of attempted burglary in the 100 block of Columbia Road. A male attempted to force in back door of residence. Subject fled on foot and was located shortly after by EPD.

Report of theft in progress at business on Empire Road NW. Suspect was drinking alcohol inside the store and left without paying. Suspect was contacted outside the store and resisted when detained. Suspect booked for third-degree assault, third-degree theft, resisting arrest and obstructing police. Third time suspect has been booked in two days.

Moses Lake

Nov. 16

Report of unknown suspect(s) egging residence and truck on East Trout Avenue. Eggs washed off but left stains.

Report of collision on N Central Drive and W Valley Road. Vehicle one was driving westbound when he said he was struck by vehicle two. Vehicle two was traveling northbound. Both drivers said they had green lights. On impact, vehicle one flipped direction and struck a metal pole.

Report of tire slashed at business on N Stratford Road. Business gave police video of the suspect damaging the tire.

Nov. 17

Report of vehicle and residence hit and run collision on S Hawthorne Drive. Driver fled on foot and was located by officer. Driver was determined to be DUI and resisted arrest. Driver booked into Grant County Jail.

Report of person being scammed when trying to purchase a hairless “sphinx” from unknown female in Boise, Idaho. Reporting party sent $300 via Zelle for deposit then suspect started making excuses and asking for more money.

Report of overdose at Civic Park. Police contacted female and she was given Narcan by other individuals. Female did not want to go to hospital.

Report of theft in progress at business on N Stratford Road. Suspects detained and cooperative with loss prevention.

Report of suspect punching reporting party in face. Reporting party refused medical but wanted to open a criminal investigation for fourth-degree assault.

Report of broken traffic cones on W Lakeshore Drive. Police to follow up with residences to review footage.

Nov. 18

Report of a cut in fence at Frontage Road E. Three camp trailers on the property were damaged. The reporting party asked for extra patrols.

Report of person bringing in wallet with Visa card belonging to subject one, ID’s belonging to subject two, Visa belonging to subject two and another card belonging to subject three. Subjects contacted.

Report of subject trespassing on property on W Broadway Avenue and feeding the birds. Subject was contacted and trespassed.

Report of vehicle driving erratically on W Broadway Avenue. Vehicle was gone on police arrival.

Report of two-vehicle collision on Road L NE and Wheeler Road NE. Vehicle one failed to yield to vehicle two and collided in intersection.

Report of packages stolen from resident on W Columbia Avenue. Reporting party said the total value of the items taken was $400. Reporting party sent video from ring camera.

Report saying homeless subjects were breaking into residence and squatting on E Hill Avenue. Nothing found upon police arrival.

Report of juvenile caught stealing food and novelties at business on N. Stratford Road. Juvenile trespassed from store until the age of 18 and charge to be filed for third-degree theft.

Report of juvenile coming into store on W Broadway Avenue and stealing snack without paying.

Report of theft from business on S Pioneer Way. Female suspect left prior to police arrival. Police found suspect vehicle and spoke with suspect. Police returned some items she had stolen to the business.

Nov. 19

Report of structure fire at residence on W Edgewater Lane. Police responded and homeowners were able to get their kids out of the house. Moses Lake Fire Department extinguished the fire. Fire appeared to start in the attic. Nothing further.

Report of male suspect stealing a chargeable handwarmer from business on N Stratford Road. Suspect returned product and permanently trespassed.

Report of ten windows broken at business on S Pioneer Way. Police arrived and talked to the owner and said a male broke into the business and left after being confronted. The owner did not want to press charges or trespass.

Report of unknown suspect stealing approximately $30 worth of merchandise from business on E Broadway Avenue. Suspect left on bicycle wearing clown mask.

Report of Frontier Middle School student assaulting another student outside the football field. The victim student was taken to walk-in clinic. School administration discipline per school policy.

Report of single-vehicle accident where a city fire hydrant was hit on E Kittleson Road. City water maintenance already on scene handling water upon police arrival.

Report of reporting party driving on Fifth Avenue in lane one. Vehicle one was behind reporting party’s vehicle and when reporting party stopped at light the vehicle rear-ended the reporting party. Vehicle one got into lane two and fled southbound on Pioneer Way.

Report of ongoing issue of reporting party’s neighbor pointing gun at house on S Winona Street.

Report of suspect attempting to get into reporting party’s shop. Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded and suspect was gone on police arrival. Suspect located getting onto bus. Traffic stop conducted and suspect detained. Suspect trespassed from property.

Nov. 20

Report of two suspects stealing beer from business on Basin Street NW. Worker said suspect two districted him and the other walked to the cooler and selected a 24 pack of beer and walked out.

Report of fourth-degree assault – domestic violence. Suspect was booked.

Report of cold collision. Reporting party said there was a fender bender. Both parties contacted and said they will handle the damages privately.

Report of two-vehicle collision. Driver one was attempting to turn left and failed to yield to vehicle two. Vehicle one’s front passenger side bumper struck the driver side rear quarter panel.

Report of fraud. Reporting party said they sent two gift cards worth $500 to caller. Reporting person realized it was fraud after she sent the money and wished for documentation.

Jesse Jay Oliver, 58, Moses Lake, booked on violation of no contact order.

Samuel Asher West, 20, Moses Lake, booked on Grant County Superior Court Warrant for vehicular homicide (all alternatives) and vehicular assault (alternatives – under the influence/reckless driving).

Roman Trey Daniels-Brown, 37, Moses Lake, booked on patronizing a prostitute.

Wade Lee Phillips, 56, Moses Lake, booked on third-degree theft and Grant County District Court warrant for first-degree driving with license suspended.

Nov. 15

Rafael Ochoa, 26, Moses Lake, booked on second-degree burglary, second-degree malicious mischief, resisting arrest and obstructing police.

Travis Jay Morris, 25, Moses Lake booked on second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and making false statements.

Everardo Evan Campos, 27, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Joe Jesse Sanchez, 37, Cedar Creek, booked on unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and Grant County District Court warrant for failure to appear on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Veronica Gomez Sandoval, 36, Royal City, booked on mandatory DUI.

Stephen John Ulrich, 34, Moses Lake, turned self in for failure to appear on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and interfering with reporting domestic violence case.
