PUBLIC NOTICE – Due to the expiration of terms of office for the positions of Director for Section 2 and Director for Section 4 of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, candidates are being sought to fill the positions by appointment. The terms of office will be for four years and will begin March 1, 2025. The section descriptions are noted below. Those wishing to be considered for appointment must file at the office of the Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, 32 C St NW, Room 321, Ephrata, WA, prior to 12:00 noon on November 20, 2024. Those wishing to apply must make a written application that includes the signatures of at least ten registered voters residing in the section supporting the nomination. Those wishing to apply must also meet the requirements of Chapter 17.10 RCW and must reside in their respective section. Section 2 covers the portion of Grant County lying northerly and westerly of Interstate 90, State Highway 283 and State Highway 17 N to Alkali Lake.
