Person hospitalized after climbing over bridge railing
MOSES LAKE — An unidentified person was hospitalized after the person was reported possibly trying to jump off the bridge at the intersection of State Route 17 and Stratford Road on Thursday.
Moses Lake Police Department Captain Jeff Sursely said the person was having a mental health crisis and sat on the outside of the bridge railing. The person eventually climbed back over the rail and agreed to be transported for medical treatment, Sursely said.
Traffic on Stratford Road was stopped during the incident, he said.
