COLUMBIA BASIN — This week offers opportunities to support local causes or get a jump on your holiday shopping. Here are a few ideas: 


Nov. 1  


'Murder at the Ballet'  


Ballet Fantastique and Columbia Basin Allied Arts present the world’s first interactive murder mystery ballet, where the audience shapes the story’s end with real-time choose-your-own-adventure elements. It’s a dark and stormy night in 1888 for London’s Les Etoiles Ballet Company theater, a thrilling new sort of penny dreadful innovation in the era of Jack the Ripper. Christmas Bazaar  


Crafts, candles, baked goods, homemade gifts and more. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 413 E. Nelson Road, Moses Lake. Info: 937-763-8790.  


Wild + Free Handmade Holiday Market  


Ornaments, bracelets, baked treats, simmer pot kits, crafts and more, all made by homeschooled children. 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Covenant Christian School, 1001 N. Grape Drive, Moses Lake. Info: 509-762-9060.  


Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Bi-Annual Auction  


Live and silent auction and banquet. Tickets $70, which includes admission and dinner. The theme is “007 Agents.” Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Port of Quincy Business and Conference Center, 117 F St. SW. Info: www.quincyvalley.org.  


Lost and Found Pets of Grant County, Washington fundraiser 


This free event will include live music by the cover band Days of Honey, raffles, prizes,and fun. Proceeds will support efforts to rescue, reunite and adopt lost and found pets in Grant County. 6-8 p.m. at Moore Brewing Company, 302 W. Broadway. Info: lafpogcw@yahoo.com. 


Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School 41st Annual Auction


Silent auction, live auction, raffles, and more surprises. This year's theme is "Mystery Masquerade" – a night filled with intrigue, elegance, and excitement. Soap Lake Fall Cleanup
