May 31

Moses Lake High School kicks off the graduation season Friday; ceremonies are at 6 p.m. at Lions Field behind Frontier Middle School, 517 West Third Ave. Admission to the stadium opens at 5 p.m.

Ephrata High School seniors also take the walk Friday night, with ceremonies at 7 p.m. at Kiwanis Field, behind EHS, 333 Fourth Ave. NW.

June 1

The 66th commencement ceremony at Soap Lake High School — graduation for the class of 2024 — will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Soap Lake Middle School/High School gym, 527 West Second Ave.

The class of 2024 at Lind-Ritzville High School finishes up its high school career with graduation ceremonies at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gilson Gymnasium, across the street from LRHS, 209 E. Wellsandt Rd.

June 7

Four schools have scheduled graduation ceremonies for the evening of June 7.

Royal High School put on a car parade for the class of 2020, and have kept the practice for succeeding classes. The parade for the class of 2024 leaves the Royal Intermediate School parking lot at 6:15 p.m. and rolls through town. Graduation follows at 7 p.m. at the RHS football stadium next to the high school, 955 Ahlers Ave. N.

The Wahluke High School class of 2024 will ring down the curtain on high school at 6 p.m. Friday at the WHS gym, 505 N. Boundary Rd. Wahluke High School too started a parade during the COVID-19 pandemic, and WHS too continues that tradition. The parade is directly after graduation, leaves from the WHS parking lot, rolls around town (it’s easy to follow the progress by the honking car horns) and returns to the parking lot.

Graduation ceremonies for the Othello High School class of 2024 will be at 7 p.m. June 7 at Huskie Stadium behind OHS, 340 S. 2nd Ave. That’s traditional, but district officials have made some changes to the ceremony itself. There will be more entrances and all attendees will be screened, according to information from the district. Each graduate will receive identification for a limited number of people, and people who have that ID will get priority seating on the field. Only clear bags or water bottles will be allowed inside the stadium.

Warden seniors leave high school behind in a graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. June 7 at the WHS football stadium next to the high school, 101 W. Beck Way.

June 8

Four schools send off the class of 2024 June 8.

Wilson Creek High School graduation is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the WCHS gym, 400 Navar St. It’s traditional in Wilson Creek for the seniors to do most of the planning, down to the decorating. It’s also tradition to announce scholarship winners.

Graduation ceremonies for the class of 2024 at Quincy High School are scheduled for 10 a.m. June 8 at the QHS football field. It’s tradition for the QHS graduation crowd to fill the grandstands to overflowing, so seniors will receive tickets for a specified number of friends and family, which will give them priority seating.

Moses Lake Christian Academy graduates finish high school at 2 p.m. June 8 at the Den, the district’s gym on the school campus, 1312 S. Moses Lake Ave.

Graduation for Almira Coulee Hartline seniors will be 2 p.m. at the Paul Lozier Activity Center, the ACH gym, 413 N 4th St., Coulee City.
