May 9

Report of a subject in a business in the 200 block of Basin Street Southwest hiding items in her clothing. 

May 10

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 10 block of Ridge Drive. An item valued at $500-$750 was taken.

May 11

Report of vandalism to a bathroom at a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Report of an attempted burglary in the 200 block of C Street Southwest. Witnesses said the suspect dropped the item and fled down an alley on a skateboard.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at Alder and Division Streets.

Report of a vehicle stolen in the 1800 block of Division Avenue East.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in a parking lot in the 1800 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision on First Avenue Northwest.

Report of a hit-and-run in a parking lot in the 1300 block of East Division Avenue.

Moses Lake PD

May 9

Report of ice cream valued at $19.98 stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. Subject was contacted and the ice cream recovered.

Report of a homeless male subject jumping the fence to his previous residence, which was vacant, and taking wood from the back yard to build a shelter.  Subject was advised that he does not have rights to the property, especially if he has to jump a fence to get access.

Report of teenage boys in two vehicles shooting toy guns at each other in the area of South Clover Drive and SR 17. The shooters could not be located. Reporting party’s vehicle was struck but sustained no damage.

May 10

Report of an unidentified liquid substance thrown onto a garage door on North Buell Street.

May 11

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in  a parking lot in the 400 block of South Wanapum Drive.

May 12

Report of a vehicle driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90. Vehicle was stopped just east of milepost 179 and the driver was taken into custody for DUI.

Report of a vehicle prowl on South Monroe Street. Vehicle sustained damage to its driver’s side door.

Report of a hit-and-run in a parking lot in  the 900 block of North  Stratford Road. A Dodge Ram pickup backed into the rear bumper of an unoccupied Nissan Leaf, then drove away.

Report of a two-vehicle collision in the area of South Gibby Road and West Broadway Avenue. Minor injuries were reported.

Report of a three-foot-high mirror stolen from a yard sale on South Clover Drive.

Report of theft from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. More than $600 worth of merchandise was recovered; the amount that the suspect got away with was unknown.

Report of a machete and a pocket knife stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. The suspect was located and the cutlery retrieved.

May 13

Report of a fight between two gang-affiliated individuals in the 300 block of East Fifth Avenue.

Report of alcohol stolen from a business in  the 500 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 1100 block of East Nelson Road. The vehicle’s window was broken and a purse containing ID, Social Security and other cards was stolen.

May 14

Report of tools stolen from a work truck on West Lakeside Drive.

Report of graffiti on a building in the 1200 block of West Broadway Avenue.

Report of alcohol and coffee stolen from a business in the 500 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of theft from a business in the 1600 block of West Broadway Avenue.

May 15

Report of a three-vehicle collision on West Peninsula Drive. A moving vehicle struck two parked cars, then rolled onto its top. A female inside the moving vehicle sustained serious injuries.

Report of theft from a business in the 800 block of East Broadway Avenue. Unknown subject pried open the cash drawer during the night and stole approximately $200. The camera system went offline during the theft, but there were no signs of tampering and the reporting party did not believe any other employees could access the system to turn it off.

Report of theft from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of a two-vehicle collision in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue. Two vehicles were attempting to gain access to a drive-thru and neither yielded to the other.
