May 2

Report of attempted theft at a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest. A subject almost walked out with a basket of groceries valued at $1,153.

Report of a subject pushing a grocery cart full of mostly meat and alcohol out of a business in the 1400 block of Basin Street Southwest.

May 3

Report of a male subject exposing his buttocks in the 200 block of Basin Street Southwest. Subject was contacted and told to keep his sweatpants up.

Report of a tow hitch valued at $250-$300 stolen in the area of Basin Street and First Avenue Northwest.

Report of a backpack stolen out of a vehicle on Cottage Drive Southeast.

Report of a hit-and-run in the 200 block of Basin Street Southwest. 

Moses Lake PD

May 2

Report of an overdose on Olympic Drive Northeast. Reporting party administered Narcan before officers arrived. Individual was conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived and took them to the hospital.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at Valley Road and Airway Drive.

Report of a female subject yelling at someone, then exposing herself at the Japanese Peace Gardens.

Report of a license plate stolen in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.

May 3

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 2300 block of South Maiers Road. The back window on the driver’s side was broken and a rifle stolen.

Report of lights stolen off a vehicle in the 700 block of East Wheeler Road.

Report of a firearm stolen on South Adams Street.

Report of theft at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Unknown male subject entered the store and stole a bicycle, then returned 20 minutes later and stole a second bicycle.

May 4

Report of a vehicle prowl on North Frontage Road East. Suspect attempted to steal a battery.

Report of a wallet stolen out of a vehicle on West Wapato Drive.

Report of theft from a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Suspect attempted to run out of the store with merchandise while law enforcement was on  the scene for an unrelated call. Suspect was taken into custody.

May 5

Report of vehicle windows smashed in the 1500 block of South Monroe Street.

Report of theft at a business in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue. Suspect was contacted and returned the merchandise.

Report of an umbrella stolen off the deck of a business in the 300 block of West Broadway Avenue.

Report of a student at Vanguard Academy in possession of a weapon which appeared to be a dagger. The weapon was confiscated and the student was disciplined per school policy.

Report of a hit-and-run of an unoccupied vehicle parked on North Hooper Drive.

Report of children riding bicycles without helmets in the area of North Monarch Street.

Report of beer stolen from a business in the 700 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of a vehicle prowl on Vince Road Northeast. A debit card was stolen.

Report of shoplifting at a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of merchandise valued at $68 stolen from a business in the 2700 block of West Broadway Avenue.

Report of a female subject concealing $44.82 worth of items in her purse at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Alexandria Nicole Sandberg, 24, Spokane, booked on a Grant County District Court warrant relating to third-degree theft and a Grant County Superior Court warrant relating to second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Dalia Alvarez, 58, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Oscar Alexander Ocon Hernandez, 24, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Arturo Martinez Banos, 42, Moses Lake, booked on harassment – previous conviction or threat to kill and fourth-degree assault – sexual motivation.
