Marvin W. Brooks

Marvin W. Brooks passed away Feb. 9, 2024, around 10 a.m. due to cancer. He was born May 17, 1956, in Colville, Wash., to Robert and Louise Brooks. 

He served 20 years in the Army National Guard out of Ephrata, Wash. He’s done several jobs but put in 30 years at Basic American Foods. 

He is survived by his wife, Robin Brooks, his children, Jennifer Minick, Steven Brooks, Marvin “Wayne” Brooks Jr. and Chris Yearout. Also his brother, Melvin Brooks, sisters Karen Brooks, Kirsty Bedingfield and Kathy. 

Services will be held June 21 at the UA Cemetery at Medical Lake, Wash., at 1:45 p.m. with military honors. A memorial service will be held June 22 at Dean’s Park in Moses Lake, Wash., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a potluck will be held afterward. Those with questions may call 509-859-7168.
