Report of a subject behaving strangely in the roadway and blocking traffic. Subject was contacted and admitted to jaywalking but said they were just crossing the street. Subject was warned about being careful.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.
Report of a hit-and-run on East Mizzou Court. Larger vehicle appeared to have backed into the reporting party’s vehicle parked in an apartment parking lot during the night.
Report of a subject taking cardboard from a dumpster outside a business in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue and lighting it on fire. Subject was contacted and trespassed.
Report of attempted theft at a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. Subject was stopped pushing a cart of merchandise out of the store.
March 9
Report of a subject yelling and causing a disturbance at the Moses Lake Public Library. Subject advised law enforcement that he always yells.
Report of a hit-and-run of a tree overnight on North Westshore Drive. The tree was valued at about $100.
Report of a two-vehicle collision in a parking lot in the 1100 block of West Broadway Avenue. Driver 1 was backing up to park and his vehicle’s transmission reportedly slipped. The vehicle’s tires began spinning out and he drove toward the building at a high rate of speed, hitting vehicle 2 and damaging the building, three snow blowers and some plastic sleds.
Report of theft at a business in the 400 block of South Wanapum Drive. Unknown subject entered and exited the business several times with stolen merchandise valued at about $200, then entered a business truck, created a makeshift stove out of two energy drink cans, poured accelerant into the stove and ignited it. The heat melted the center console and parts of the front seats.

Report of a hit-and-run in a parking lot in the 1000 block of North Stratford road.
Report of tires slashed on two vehicles at a business on South Pioneer Way. Damage was estimated at $400.
March 11
Report of a subject concealing ice cream under his shirt and walking out of a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.
Report of a chicken running loose in a yard on North Clark Road. Law enforcement responded but was unable to catch the bird or locate its owner.
Report of a hit-and-run on West Loop Drive. Driver was found to be DUI.

Report of theft from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.
Report of a hit-and-run in a parking lot in the 900 block of North Stratford Road.
March 13
Report of a package stolen off a porch on West Knolls Vista Drive.
Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Subject concealed clothing items then paid for other items in the shopping cart and left.
Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at South Pioneer Way and East Third Avenue.
Report of toys stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.
Report of a subject using a knife to try to break into a claw machine at a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. The machine appeared to be undamaged and the subject was trespassed.
