Adams Co. man arrested for odometer tampering

RITZVILLE — Reynaldo “Rey” Valdez Garza Jr. was arrested March 5 on suspicion of robbery by second-degree deception and disconnecting, resetting or reversing odometers. 

A search warrant was issued and evidence was discovered corroborating allegations against Valdez Garza, according to a statement from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone who has bought a vehicle from him is asked to contact ACSO to obtain assistance in verifying the vehicle’s mileage.
