Report of damage to a fence in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast.

March 1

Report of a speaker stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Nat Washington Way.

March 4

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 500 block of C Street Northwest.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at SR 282 and Dodson Road Northwest.

March 5

Report of a break-in at a storage unit in the 300 block of Alder Street Northwest.

March 6

Report of airsoft BBs found in a yard on G Street Northeast. Reporting party believed neighbor children were shooting her dog with them.

Julian Daniel Estrada, 40, Soap Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

March 3

Vincent C. Olveda Wheeler, 27, Moses Lake, booked on DUI, first-degree driving with license suspended and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock.

Jessica Booth, 27, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence.

Feb. 29

Report of construction materials valued at approximately $500 stolen from a job site in the area of West Paxson and Polo Ridge drives.

Report of a business sign damaged in the 1500 block of West Broadway Avenue. An unknown vehicle backed into the sign and left the scene. The driver was identified through surveillance video and contacted, and said they didn’t know they had hit the sign.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. 

Report of alcohol stolen from a business in the 500 block of South Pioneer Way. 

Report of a calculator stolen from the front porch of a residence on South Beaumont Drive.

Report of perfume valued at $1,000 stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Two female subjects attempted to leave the store with more than $1,400 worth of merchandise in their card. The two were arrested.

Report of an unknown subject spraying bear spray at or into a vehicle in the 600 block of Pioneer Way South. Victims were transported to Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

March 1

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at West Ivy and Third Avenues. The driver of one vehicle was treated for minor injuries.

Report of a mailbox tagged on West Peninsula Avenue.

March 2

Report of a sliding glass door damaged, possibly by a heavy rick, on West Marina Drive.

Report of attempted burglary at a business in the 1000 block of East Broadway Avenue. Several spools of aluminum wire were loaded into a small cart and brought outside the business’ fence. The wire was recovered.

Report of a subject throwing knives in the grass at Civic Center Park. Subject was contacted and advised to stop.

Report of a stolen car in the 400 block of South Melva Lane. Reporting party said her daughter’s friend took her key fob and stole her rental car.

Report of a single-vehicle collision in the 500 block of West Broadway Avenue. Motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and laid the bike down.

Report of shoplifting at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. suspect was located during a traffic stop.

March 3

Report of a bagel and cream cheese stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.

Report of a hit-and-run collision in the 400 block of East Broadway Avenue. A commercial box truck that was legally parked and unoccupied was damaged overnight. Truck sustained damage to the door, mirror and window.

Report of a vehicle prowl on South A Street. The only items reported taken were hats with sentimental value belonging to a deceased friend of the reporting party.

Report of graffiti on a building in the 1700 block of West Broadway Avenue.

Report of theft at a business in the 500 block of South Pioneer Way. Two male subjects ran out of the store and a female subject remained behind. The female had not stolen anything, but the males wanted her to pay for the items they took and she did not want to.

March 4

Report of a vehicle stolen in Adams County the night before recovered on Elder Street in Moses Lake.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at East Nelson Road and South Clover Drive. Driver 2 had slowed suddenly due to a vehicle in front of her stopping abruptly and driver 1 did not stop in time and rear-ended her vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Report of a trailer stolen Feb. 27 recovered on Kelly Place North.

Report of an overdose in the 600 block of East Third Avenue. Subject declined medical assistance.

Report of tagging at Lower Peninsula Park.

Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Female subject hid items in her purse and passed all points of sale without paying. Law enforcement contacted her, but the jail would not accept her because she was seven months pregnant. The case will be forwarded instead to the county prosecutor’s office.

Report of a hit-and-run at West Broadway and West Third avenues.

Report of a vehicle stolen from a parking lot in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Law enforcement located the vehicle in the parking lot.
