The water is cold and the sun is high over the Potholes Reservoir. While temps may be cold, walleye, bass and trout may still be caught by savvy anglers.

MARDON — The current water level on the Potholes Reservoir is 1043.65 feet — dropping .10 feet this past week. That’s 2.85 feet below full pool. Surface temperatures are 38-42 degrees.
