MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man has been booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault and first-degree robbery, among other charges, after he was arrested Thursday morning.

Cesar Concepcion Adame, 41, was arrested about 5:50 a.m. on Interstate 90 near Moses Lake. Adame had just left his residence in the 2000 block of West Peninsular Drive, according to a release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Adame’s vehicle was impounded; at about the same time, law enforcement officers served a search warrant on his residence.

“The investigation and charges stem from an alleged illegal drug operation run by Adame,” according to the GCSO release.

During the search of the residence officers seized illegal drugs, a handgun and more than $11,800 in cash.

In addition to the assault and burglary charges Adame was booked on suspicion of first degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver.

The case is being investigated by the regional narcotics investigation team, INET.
