YAKIMA — Four local football players — Ephrata’s Eric O’Neel, Othello’s Alex Mendez and Royal’s Bennett Brown and Case Christensen — competed for the East team in Saturday’s Earl Barden Classic in Yakima. Results from the game were not available in time for press deadline, but a full story from the game will be in Tuesday’s edition of the Columbia Basin Herald.
