Ephrata PD

June 7

Report of a single-vehicle non-injury DUI collision at SR 28 and Road 19 Northwest.

June 8

Report of a hit-and-run of a parked vehicle on E Street Southeast.

June 9

Report of 17 propane tanks stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Report of a cell phone stolen from a bench outside a business in the 100 block of First Avenue Northwest. The suspect was located and detained and the phone recovered.

June 12

Report of firearms stolen from a vehicle parked in the 10 block of L Street Northeast.

Report of a pump valued at $5,000-$6,000 stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Moses Lake PD

June 8

Report of tagging on a building in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of theft from a business in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue. Suspect was searched and did not have the allegedly stolen merchandise, but was carrying brass knuckles.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at West Valley Road and North Grape Drive.

Report of a female subject who had climbed to the top of the railroad crossing on SR 17 and was hanging over the road. Officer called the Moses Lake Fire Department, who brought the ladder truck and safely brought the subject down. The subject was contacted by mental health professionals and a pickup order was placed on her.

Report of theft at a business in the 400 block of South Wanapum Drive. 

June 9

Report of a robbery on Market Road. Reporting party advised he had been walking along the road when a vehicle pulled up with three occupants, two of whom exited the vehicle, assaulted him and took his wallet.  

Report of a two-vehicle rear-end collision in the 200 block of South Alder Street. No injuries were reported.

Report of merchandise valued at about $844 stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of a quad, a dirt bike and a TV stolen on West Peninsula Drive.

Report of a kayak stolen from in front of a residence on South Boardwalk Avenue.

Report of a bicycle stolen from the back of a van at the Japanese Peace Garden.

Report of multiple shirts stolen from a business in the 1600 block of West Broadway Avenue.

Report of a pocketknife stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of merchandise valued at approximately $300 stolen from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of attempted theft from a business in the 1400 block of East Yonezawa Boulevard.

Javier Villanueva Santana, 30, Moses Lake, booked on second-degree attempted arson, fourth-degree assault – domestic violence, third-degree malicious mischief and resisting arrest.

Amber Lynn Mitchell, 33, Moses Lake,  booked on felony violation of a no-contact order and residential burglary.

Floyd Dean Best, 52, Moses Lake, booked on a U.S. Marshal’s warrant relating to a probation violation.

Cornelio Alcala, 56, Moses Lake, booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant relating to second-degree rape of a child and second-degree kidnapping.

Esteban Eloy Garza, 38, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence, as well as a Grant County District Court warrant relating to fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and violation of a no-contact order – domestic violence.
