Mattawa Movie in the Park

Watch Disney’s Elemental and kick off summer with a bike party at Hund Memorial Park. The movie is sponsored by Heritage University. Bring your own blankets and chairs. Hund Memorial Park, 101 Government Rd., Mattawa, 4-9:30 p.m.

Friday Open Mic Night

Open Mic Friday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. continue as a popular opportunity at the Soap Lake Senior Center, 121 2nd Ave. SE, Soap Lake, to drop in and express yourself via music, poetry, dancing, storytelling or some other art form. All ages are welcome. $1 for entry. Unique snacks & food are available for purchase.

Moses Lake Farmers Market

Each Saturday from May through October, the Moses Lake Farmers Market offers area shoppers the chance to buy crafts, produce and other household items that are produced locally. At McCosh Park at 401 W. Fourth Ave. in Moses Lake from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., visitors can enjoy some time at the park in addition to an opportunity to shop local. The event is free to attend.

Moses Lake Air Show

Along with aerial acrobatic performances, the show includes the US Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II and C-17 Globemaster II demonstration teams, acrobatic demonstrations from radio controlled aircraft and ground displays. Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic

Sagehills Veterinary Services will be offering low-cost parvo and rabies shots to the community, as well as microchips and dog licenses. Stay in your vehicle and line up on the street facing East that is adjacent to Sage Hills Vet. Sagehills Veterinary Services, 330 N. Broadway Ave., Othello, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fly-In Breakfast

The Desert Aire Airport is putting on its annual Fly-In Breakfast in one of the airport’s hangars. Enjoy some food and at this community gathering. Desert Aire Airport, 119 Airport Way SW, Desert Aire, 7-11 a.m.

Father’s Day Meal

Father’s Day Chef’s Dinner

Head to Gard Public House at 112 Evergreen Ave. NW, Royal City for a special Father's Day Chef's Dinner with Executive Chef, Ulises Montero, of 3 Michelin star restaurant NOMA. $100 per person. Wine by the glass/bottle, beer, non-alcoholic beverages. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so Gard encourages attendees to reserve a spot by calling (509) 414-1484.

Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom 

The Moses Lake Martin Luther King Jr. Committee will sponsor commemoration of Juneteenth with great speakers, music and a community picnic. Centennial Amphitheater, McCosh Park, 401 West Fourth Ave., Moses Lake, 2-6 p.m.

Seniors Crafting

Check out the Ephrata Senior Center on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, needle point, latch hook and hand sewing or bring any portable project that you want to work on and get to know others, share ideas and be social. No children.

Mariachi, Music & Me!

Join Mariachi Noroeste for performances featuring traditional Mexican music in an interactive format. Audience members will be able to learn about the band’s instruments and outfits in this cultural and musical experience. This all-ages program is bilingual in English and Spanish. Warden Public Library, 305 S. Main St., Warden, 5 p.m.

Summer Concert Series

The Wenatchee Big Band will kick off the series of free concerts throughout the summer sponsored by the Moses Lake Creative District. The Wenatchee Big Band features the classics from the Swing era. Centennial Amphitheater, McCosh Park, 401 West Fourth Ave., Moses Lake, 8 p.m.
