2024 Military Family Summit set for Aug. 14
SPOKANE — The 2024 Military Family Summit will be Aug. 14 at Fairchild Air Force Base, according to a press release from Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Washington. She is set to co-chair the event.
“Each year, I look forward to hosting the Military Family Summit and having important conversations about the unique challenges our military families face every day,” said McMorris Rodgers in her press release. “The summit is a special opportunity for Congressman Sanford Bishop (D-Georgia) and me to hear from the men and women serving our country and take what we learn back with us to Congress on their behalf. This will be our 16th Annual Military Family Summit — and my last as co-chair of this incredible caucus — and I’m confident it will be one to remember. We look forward to seeing everyone at Fairchild Air Force Base!”
The event will be from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is designed to bring together military families. The theme of this year's event will be “At the Forefront of Readiness: Our Nation’s Enduring Military Families.”
