MOSES LAKE — Grant County Animal Outreach is looking for a few awesome humans to adopt a bunch of equally awesome dogs. The shelter is located at 6725 Randolph Road NE in Moses Lake and may be reached at 509-762-9616 or by email at thegcao@gmail.com. The facility is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 5 p.m. and Friday from noon to 6 p.m.

All GCAO animals available for adoption are fully vaccinated and have been spayed or neutered.

My name’s Happy, and I’m generally content to sun myself a bit and get spoiled rotten. I’d like a chance to return the favor for some wonderful humans, especially if they like keeping dog biscuits around the house. I’m almost three years old, so I’m fully grown and you won’t have to worry about me outgrowing you. Just snuggle up and let’s be besties.

The name’s Mantis, but I’m not preying on anything but a treat and maybe a chew toy. I’m about 44 pounds, so I’m feeling svelte and soon I’ll be two years old. I’d dearly love to have someone to play with regularly and have a fun time with. I was found as a stray, but I was only wandering about looking for you – I swear. Let’s make good times happen together and I’ll be your best girl forever.

I’m Poppy, and that’s a word that could definitely be used to describe the way the love in my eyes just pops out at you. I’ve been with Grant County Animal Outreach for a bit over a year now and I’m just really excited to find a family I can love on forever. I’m a bigger dog and would love a large yard to work out some energy on but I still want to be as close to my people as I can be. Let’s hang out and see if our relationship pops for you.

Sampson’s the name and handsome’s my game. I’m getting close to five years old and have old roots on the German shepherd side of the family. While people have been mean to me in the past, I’m a lover not a fighter and I just want to have a family to take care of. I do like dogs about my size or larger, but smaller animals are scary – pretty sure it’s the small paws. I love the outdoors and would be thrilled to go on hikes with you. Let’s go explore the world together.

Not sure how I got the name Hippy, but here we are. Maybe it’s because my whole back end wags when I’m REALLY happy. Regardless, I’m a bit over three years old and would love to snuggle on the couch with you and watch a good game on the gridiron with our fav team. When the game isn’t on, we can go for walks and just hang out. You could always throw a ball for me and see if I get “hippy.”
