In accordance with Title 70, Chapter 44, Section 140 of the Revised Code for the State of  Washington, Samaritan Healthcare hereby gives public notice of the need for materials and work for  construction that conforms to all applicable public works requirements including the requirement to  pay prevailing wages.   Sealed Bids will be received by Samaritan Healthcare at 801 East Wheeler Road, Moses Lake WA,  98837, for construction of Shop Building as indicated in the Contract Documents.   Bids shall be delivered to Samaritan Healthcare at the location indicated above no later than 2pm, on  August 28th, 2024. Alternate Bids shall be delivered no later than 2pm, same date and location. If  Alternate Bids change Subcontractor lists that were previously submitted, a revised Subcontractor  list shall be included with the Alternate Bids indicating which Subcontractor will be used for which  alternates per RCW 39.30.060. Bids delivered after the time(s) indicated above will not be accepted  or considered.   Bids and Bid Bond shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders contained in the  Contract Documents.   Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after Alternate Bid deadline.   Project Description: The project consists of a new Pre-Engineered Steel 11,250 SF Shop Building for  the new Samaritan Healthcare Hospital. It includes a Shop, Wood Shop, Staff Break Room, Toilets,  Storage for Hospital Departments, and a Garage for Facility Owned vehicles as indicated in the  Contract Documents.   A pre-Bid meeting and site walk-through will be held on August 6th, 11am, at the project site.  Attendance at the meeting is mandatory for General Contractors.   Questions are to be directed in writing to the Architect of Record: KDA Architecture, attn: Ken  Camarata, (509) 575-5408, Ken.Camarata@kdaarchitecture.com.   Contract Documents are posted at KDA Architecture plan room, www.KDAplanroom.com. and may  be downloaded by bidders at no cost. All  Bidders are required to register as a plan holder on this plan room. A list of locations with complete  sets of documents, for viewing and reference only, is posted on the architect’s plan room.
