Upgrades included in Quincy 6-year parks plan
The playground at East Park will see some adjustments to its surroundings as the softball field adjacent to it is moved to make way for a new aquatic center as the city of Quincy works to implement its parks plan over the next six years. East Park wraps around the ball field and is near the City of Quincy Skate Park, pump track and Quincy Aquatic Center. It is the first park travelers see on the left side of Road 10 NW as they enter the city from the east.

QUINCY — New playground toys, more park benches and picnic areas in most Quincy parks, a new park on Sixth Avenue Northeast and new baseball and softball fields with lights are among the components of the city’s updated comprehensive parks, recreation and open space plan.
