Mae Valley housing going up
MOSES LAKE — The Mae Valley area is getting some more homes.
Pro Made Homes, based in Kennewick, is building 52 homes at The Refuge at Mae Valley between Montana Street and the Moses Lake Golf & Country Club on the west end of Moses Lake.
“The designer's vision behind the homes truly has that earthy inspiration… that makes homeowners truly feel at home,” said Irena Radeva, marketing director for Pro Made Homes. “And with the different elements it kind of ties in together; everything from the paint to the tiles chosen is special … We put a lot of thought and care into it.”
Pro Made isn’t the first developer to build homes at The Refuge at Mae Valley. Some of the existing homes in the area were built by other companies, including Hayden Homes and Noffke Homes. Pro Made is purchasing the lots it’s building on from Mitchell Development, according to Pro Made Vice President Paul Lavrentiev.
The homes come in 11 different floor plans, Radeva said. The size range is from 1,150 to 2,122 square feet, according to Pro-Made’s website. Prices will start at just under $310,000.
There are 16 spec homes under construction now, Radeva said, designed by Pro Made’s designer. There will also be homes built to the buyer’s specifications. Those lots also come with $10,000 that the buyer can use for closing costs or home upgrades, she added.
This is Pro Made’s first foray into Moses Lake, Radeva said, but probably won’t be its last. The company also has developments underway at several Tri-Cities and Yakima Valley locations, as well as Boardman, Ore., and Post Falls, Idaho, according to its website.
“We’ve selected this area with great care and it kind of embodies what ProMade Homes values,” Radeva said. “We were drawn to the wealth of recreation and lush parks that Moses Lake had to offer. And we feel that this community in particular complements our vision with crafting exceptional homes.”
