PULLMAN — Former Washington State volleyball outside hitter, Pia Timmer, has signed on to play with the Atlanta Vibe in 2025.

The Vibe, a member of the Pro Volleyball Federation which just wrapped up its inaugural 2024 season, may sound familiar to Coug fans after Timmer's former teammate Magdalena Jehlářová was drafted second overall and traded to Atlanta ahead of that inaugural season.

In her time with WSU, Timmer was a four-time Pac-12 All-Conference member after being named to the 2019 Pac-12 All-Freshman First Team in her first season in the Palouse. The three-time Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week was also a 2021 AVCA All-American Honorable Mention, a four-time VolleyballMag.com All-American, and was four times named AVCA All-District.

Timmer helped the Cougs advance to the NCAA Tournament each year she was with the program, and her group tallied four NCAA Tournament wins.

Among the Washington State record books, Timmer finished her career first all-time in service aces (152), third in career kills (1,704), fifth in career kills/set (3.33), second in career points (1,959.0), and third in matches played (141).
