NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY    LIMITED ACCESS PUBLIC HEARING    SR 26 – Taunton East    The Washington State Department of Transportation is planning intersection improvements at the non-signalized intersection of State Route 26 and 1st Avenue. SR 522, MP 20.23 to MP 24.61). The proposed project will construct a single lane roundabout at the intersection, located on SR 26 at milepost 40.70, as well as purchasing access control along 1st Avenue and the SR 24 spur. The intersection is located within Othello City Limits in Adams County. The primary purpose for this project is to reduce the potential for fatal and serious crashes at the intersections by constructing a compact roundabout.     Revisions to the current access control limits are planned for the project.    Should any interested persons, whose property will incur changes in access control as a result of this project, want to discuss and exchange information concerning the proposed improvements and revisions to the access control, they may contact the Project Engineer, Jeff Deal, by calling (509) 667-2882. A Transportation Engineer will arrange to meet them at their convenience.     Owners of properties immediately adjacent to the project, whose properties will have changes to access control as a result of this project, may request a Public Hearing if they believe a hearing is necessary. CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF WARDEN LIFT STATION 1 IMPROVEMENTS ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $619,000.00 Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Warden, 121 South Main Street, Warden, Washington 98857, up to 10:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Lift Station 1 Improvements. The scope of work includes installation of two new submersible, centrifugal pumps, piping, and related appurtenances in the existing wet well, new water service, new fence and retaining wall, new generator, and electrical improvements required for a complete and workable lift station. The Work shall be substantially complete within 80 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, Warden City Hall, Washington.
