Report of groceries stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest.
Report of two propane tanks valued at $79 apiece stolen from a business in the 200 block of Basin Street Northwest.
Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision at F Street and First Avenue Southwest. Vehicle 1 tried to stop at an uncontrolled intersection but slid on the ice and struck vehicle 2.

Report of a vehicle stolen in the 400 block of Basin Street Northwest. Reporting party started the vehicle, went inside his residence briefly, then went back out to see his vehicle driven away.
Jan. 16
Report of muzzle-loader ammunition and black powder found in a recently-purchased home on E Street Southeast. Officer put the powder in a tub of water and disposed of the ammunition.
Jan.17
Report of a vehicle prowl in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast. The key to the vehicle was taken.

Report of damage to a business mailbox in the 1800 block of West Broadway Avenue.
Report of a hit-and-run collision on East Nelson Road. Victim’s car was T-boned by the suspect vehicle entering the roadway from an alley. Victim declined medical attention.
Report of burglary at a business in the 900 block of East Broadway Avenue. Suspect pried the fence apart to enter the yard and stole a heater and a folding ladder.
Report of theft at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Two suspects were identified; one suspect fled on foot, then assaulted an officer while resisting arrest.

Report of a box of meat stolen from a business in the 300 block of West Broadway Avenue.
Report of a cartload of merchandise stolen from a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. Law enforcement contacted the suspect, who returned the items.
Report of a power tool backpack and a chainsaw stolen from a business in the 900 block of West Central Drive.
Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Male suspect ran to a pickup where another male and a female were waiting, loaded the items into the truck and left. Law enforcement was able to obtain a license plate number for the truck.

Report of beer stolen from a business in the 700 block of South Pioneer Way.
Report of merchandise stolen from a business in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road.
Report of theft from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. Subject attempted to walk out with two sweaters. An employee confronted the suspect and recovered one sweater, but the suspect fled with the other.
Report of attempted theft at a business in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue. Male subject threw the stolen items at an employee while leaving.

Report of a vehicle stolen in the 1000 block of West Broadway Avenue.
Report of a toothbrush stolen from a business in the 500 block of South Pioneer Way.
Report of vehicles with missing gas caps at a business in the 1700 block of West Pheasant Street. There was a tank and a hose next to one of the vehicles, but it was unclear whether any fuel had been taken.
Report of deli food stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.
Report of a hole drilled in a vehicle fuel tank in the 1500 block of West Broadway Avenue.
Report of merchandise stolen from a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. Subject drove away in a white BMW, but was stopped by Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies at SR 17 and Wheeler Road. All stolen merchandise was found in the vehicle and recovered.
Report of a case of beer stolen from a business in the 200 block of West Broadway Avenue. An employee and another witness chased the suspect, who was contacted and arrested.
Report of a gift card stolen out of a mailbox in the 1600 block of West Lee Street. Reporting party was able to provide information about where the card was subsequently used.
Report of a two-vehicle collision in the 800 block of North Stratford Road. A minor injury was reported.

Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the 300 block of East Fifth Avenue.
Report of theft from a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.
Jan. 17
Report of a single-vehicle collision in the 400 block of South Wanapum Drive. Driver drove off the roadway and over a curb to avoid hitting another vehicle in the snow.
Report of a two-vehicle rear-end collision at Stratford Road and SR 17. Vehicle 1 was unable to stop due to road conditions and struck vehicle 2. No injuries were reported.
Report of a handheld employee scanner taken from a business in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road. Subject was contacted about an hour later and said he had taken the scanner accidentally and was going to return it.
Report of a single-vehicle collision at the Westshore Drive off-ramp from I-90. Driver attempted to exit the freeway and lost control of the vehicle, taking out approximately 30 yards of a chain-link fence and a “do not enter” sign. No injuries were reported and the driver did not need a tow.
Report of two cases of energy drinks stolen from a beverage distributor truck in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road.
