Ephrata PD

Dec. 29

Report of a backpack and a school laptop stolen from a vehicle in the area of F Street and First Avenue Northwest. 

Report of harassment in the 300 block of E Street Northeast. Reporting party advised that her downstairs neighbor was hitting the walls and triggering her son, who has autism.

Dec. 30

Report of alcohol stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Report of illegal aerial fireworks set off in the area of G Street Northeast.

Dec. 31

Report of a hit-and-run at Fifth Avenue Northwest and Frey Road. Vehicle 1 was driven onto the sidewalk, struck and broke off a fire hydrant, hit a pole guy wire and finally hit vehicle 2, pushing it into vehicle 3. Vehicle 1 was then pulled into the alley, parked and abandoned.

Report of a vehicle stolen in the 10 block of Basin Street Southwest.

Report of a hit-and-run. Unknown suspect struck a parked car and left a dent in the bed gate consistent with a trailer hitch.

Jan. 1

Report of ongoing harassment in the 300 block of E Street Northwest. Reporting party advised that the downstairs neighbor was hitting her ceiling, which was the reporting party’s floor, at the slightest sound, which was upsetting the reporting party’s son, who has autism and sensory issues. Law enforcement spoke with the downstairs neighbor, who understood.

Jan. 2

Report of a man stuck in his garage. Officers found the resident had fallen in the doorway of his garage and could not get up. Law enforcement helped the man into a chair, checked him out, then helped him into his residence.

Report of a house and vehicle shot with a paintball gun.

Jan. 3

Report of a hit-and-run in the area of Fourth Avenue and C Street Southwest. Reporting party noticed that the vehicle’s rear bumper was damaged, and had not been the night before.

Report of a dog stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of Cottage Street Southeast.

Gabriel Lee Watley, 33, Moses Lake, booked on theft of a motor vehicle.

Richard Dale Johnson, 67, Moses Lake, booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant relating to unlawful imprisonment, attempting to elude, hit-and-run and reckless endangerment.

Roxanne Marie Martinez, 38, Moses Lake, booked on third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence.

Eric Jason Fuentes, 30, East Wenatchee, booked on second-degree burglary and third-degree theft, as well as a Grant County Superior Court warrant relating to DUI, attempting to elude a police vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock, Grant County District Court warrants relating to violation of a protection order – domestic violence and third-degree theft and a Benton County District Court warrant relating to theft.

Zacharia Brady Holm, 30, Electric City, booked on third-degree assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Jay Skyler Spies, 32, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence, as well as a Grant County District Court warrant relating to third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence and resisting arrest – domestic violence.

Mireya Barajas Sanchez, 51, Royal Camp, booked on intimidating a witness.

Kristie Ann Reynolds, 49, Quincy, booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant related to second-degree burglary and second-degree prowling.

Eric Sloan Walters, 32, Moses Lake, booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant relating to first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, theft of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
