Teresa Harrison

| February 13, 2024 1:50 PM

Teresa Rosemary Harrison was an incredible woman. She passed away too soon Nov. 21, 2023, at the age of 68.

Teresa was born in Everett on March 1, 1955, the first of 11 children to Raymond and Evelyn Harrison. Teresa grew up in Soap Lake, attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic school from kindergarten through eighth grade and graduated from Soap Lake High School in ’73. Teresa was very proud of and took much responsibility in her role as the oldest of her 10 siblings (nine brothers and one sister).

Teresa later moved to Bellingham, Wash., where she attended Western Washington University and pursued a degree in the outdoor sciences. She loved to spend time in the outdoors, hiking and camping. She was married at age 22 and had her only child, Katrina, at age 23.

She moved quite a bit in her 30s, and ended up settling in the Bay Area of California. She worked in wine sales for 35-plus years. She loved meeting people at her job and was a successful saleswoman. She raised her daughter Katrina as a single mother and loved supporting her in her interests, always up for an art show, or a drive to Yosemite for a camping trip. She was an avid jogger and loved being active. Walks and hikes were always on her wish list of things to do. She is greatly missed by those who had the honor of calling her friend, aunt, sister and daughter.

She is survived by her daughter Katrina, her son-in-law Stefan and grandchildren Stella and Harrison. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Mark (Clarice), Bernie (Meagan), Grace (Bart) Steiner, Matt, Scott, Drew (Janice), Paul (Naomi), and Peter (Jami). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Mass will be celebrated Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 Seventh Ave. N., Edmonds, Wash. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery in Soap Lake on Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.
