Shirley Brewer
Shirley Brewer was a living wife and mother who adored her family and will be greatly missed by them.
Shirley Ann (Huffman) Brewer, 78, was born in Logansport, Ind., on Feb. 19, 1945.
She grew up on a rural farm near Buffalo, Ind. where she had to walk to school, uphill, in the snow — both ways! She was 17 years old when she met Terry Brewer, the love of her life. They married a year later and she had her first of three children at age 19.
Shirley was a master maker of cheeseballs and a volunteer fundraiser for the local sorority. She had several careers and was a devoted wife and a mother to her three surviving children, Bryan Brewer of Florida, Thad Brewer and Sydne (Brewer) James both living in Washington state.
Shirley loved golfing and watching her grandkids play sports. The best times of her life were all the years she got to enjoy with her three grandchildren — Cassidy (Brewer) Omoruyi, Elijah Brewer and Samantha Brewer.
She was loved dearly and will be missed by her husband, Terry Brewer, living in Barefoot Bay, Fla., and the rest of her family.
