Police logs for Feb. 2, 2024
Personnel from the Grant County Sheriff's Office, joined by MACC 911, Othello Police Department, Wapato Police Department and Benton County Bureau of Corrections, attended Crisis Intervention Team training earlier this week, according to an announcement from the GCSO. The training teaches personnel how to respond to people in a mental health crisis. CIT involves working in a team with mental health practitioners, law enforcement, medical personnel, and other first responders.
