Dec. 12
Report of cold theft at business on Nat Washington Way. Reporting person said juvenile subject entered store, selected paper bag, placed several packs of pokemon cards in bag and walked out without paying. Estimated $249.
Report of cold theft at business on Nat Washington Way. Reporting party said suspect pushed out beer in a cart totaling $50.30.
Dec. 13
Report of theft at business on Nat Washington Way. Two subjects pushed out two carts, when confronted they fled through the field to the east. Suspects located and arrested near the airport. Suspects booked into Grant County Jail for second-degree theft.
Report of cold verbal disturbance at the courthouse.
Report of theft in the 100 block of C Street SW.
Dec. 14
Report of burglary in 1200 block of SR 28 W. Reporting party said two suspects broke into a storage unit. Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted. Upon arrival, police determined suspects were never on scene.
Report of cold theft in the 1400 block of Basin Street SW. Reporting party said a store Cobra scanner was stolen from the store. Reporting party said the scanner is worth around $3,000.
Report of suspect inside unoccupied building on Basin Street SW. The suspect entered through broken window. Suspect found inside setting up amp. Suspect removed. Window had been broken for months per reporting party.
Dec. 16
Report of a loader stolen from Division and B Street SW in the last couple of days. Reporting party contacted Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Vehicle recovered.
Report of cold hit and run on Ivy Street NE. Reporting party said she was leaving a client’s house when she noticed the damage. Reporting party left scene and called EPD.
Report of unsheltered residents taking items from the dumpster and constructing a makeshift camp in the tree line along 9th Avenue SW. Reporting party would like people to stay off of the property.
Report of trespassing. Subject was sleeping at the back door of a business, leaving garbage and scaring employees in the morning when they come to work. Reporting party would like suspect to be trespassed.
Report of collision in parking lot on Nat Washington Way. Vehicle one was coming out of parking spot to exit and vehicle two was in lane of travel between parking spots. Vehicle one pulled into laine of travel and cars collided.
Dec. 17
Report of a dog trying to break into Ephrata High School. Police let the dog inside the first set of doors and captured the dog. No chip or tags on dog. Dog is black and tan boxed type dog.
Report of six subjects fighting. When police arrived there were subjects laughing and shaking hands. Police spoke to juveniles saying they were just wrestling. No marks on any subjects, just wet clothes.
Report of theft at business on Batin Street SW. Reporting party said two suspects took merchandise from store. Female and male suspect left with cart of alcohol and other items. Reporting party estimated around $520 worth of merchandise. Neither suspect has been identified.
Dec. 18
Report of cold theft at gas station on Basin street SW. Suspect took several small items from store.
Report of fraud. Reporting party said suspect called her claiming to be from CashApp. Suspect told reporting party to transfer money to and from app to fix problem. Suspect sent reporting party some money via Bitcoin. Reporting party lost around $500 in transactions.
Report of stripped out vehicle located at end of Third Avenue NE. Vehicle determined to be unreported stolen out of Quincy. Owner was contacted.
Report of damage in the 900 block of Basin Street SW at abandoned KULE building. Reporting party noticed broken window and wanted to report damage. Police searched building and no suspects inside.
Report of trespassing in progress in 1300 block of Basin Street SW. Reporting party said male suspect who stole items from store earlier in the morning was back in store. Reporting person wanted suspect trespassed.
Report of fraud. Reporting party called number to fix her gmail account. Suspect had her call him back on another number, make her open an uber account for $200, then get a $50 Walmart card. Reporting party is working with bank to get $200 back.
Report of fraud. Reporting party received several licenses in the mail she did not request.
Report of structure fire. Ephrata Fire Department was dispatched to a cooking fire at the Karen Lane Apartments. Upon police arrival, reporting party had fire extinguished. Fire units assisted with ventilation of apartment.

Daniel James Manning, 39, Moses Lake, booked on harassment and interfering with reporting domestic violence.
Christina Foshee Milner, 35, Moses Lake, booked on out of county warrant from Rockwall County in Texas for theft and two other previous convictions.
Edward Alexandro Ramos, 33, Moses Lake, to serve 16 days on Grant County District Court Commitment for reckless driving.
Jason W Glandon, 40, Brewster, booked on second-degree theft.
David Weston McCracken, 56, East Wenatchee, booked on second-degree theft.
Bethany Rose Groth, 38, Moses Lake, booked on Grant County District Court warrant for DUI.

Nathaniel David Parker, 31, Moses Lake, booked on second-degree burglary, retail theft with special circumstances, Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree theft and Spokane Superior Court warrant for taking a motor vehicle without permission.
