Some of the Moses Lake Christian Academy students who competed in the fall Vocab Bowl rest on their laurels in English teacher Hannah Pease’s classroom Monday. MLCA placed fourth in the worldwide vocabulary competition, beating out thousands of larger schools and first in Washington state.
