Anne Fredrickson Chlarson
Anne Fredrickson Chlarson, 89, of Ephrata, Wash., passed away Nov. 30, 2024, in Moses Lake, Wash., surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Anne was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Brigham City, Utah to Henry Lee and Marion Young Fredrickson. She graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City in 1953. There she met her high school sweetheart and eternal companion, Quinn Jewel Chlarson. They were married for 71 years. They were married for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple on June 19, 1953. They raised one and a half dozen children, one boy and six girls which she loved telling people. Anne had a quick wit and fun sense of humor.
Anne's life was marked by her unwavering kindness and her ability to make a friend out of any stranger.
Anne dedicated many years to the United States Postal Service as a contracted postal worker in the George, Wash., area, a role through which she touched the lives of many in her community with her diligence and friendly nature.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Anne participated actively in her congregation and found great solace and community in her faith. She served in many callings including Stake Relief Society President, Ward Relief Society President, and Primary President among many others. She and her husband, Quinn, served as temple ordinance workers in the Columbia River Temple for nine years and truly missed it when health and age made it impossible for them to continue their service. They made many dear friends who worked alongside them at the temple.
Anne leaves behind her loving husband, Quinn Jewel Chlarson; her children, Annise Chlarson; Travis Q. Chlarson (Susan) of Walla Walla, Wash.; Marion Wyman, (Michael) of Moses Lake, Wash.; Barbie Misrasi (Ray) of Bear River, Utah; LaVoy Key (Alan) of Ephrata; Jana Lee Richmond (Alan) of Dike, Texas; Cara Lynn Dickson (Ryan) of Stockton, Calif., and her sister, Jane Nelson.
