GRANT COUNTY WATER CONSERVANCY BOARD NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF GROUNDWATER CERTIFICATE G3-00984C TAKE NOTICE: That on October 24, 2024, Stevens Land Holdings (SLH) filed application number GRAN-24-01 with the Grant County Water Conservancy Board (GCWCB) to add a point of withdrawal and change the place of use under Groundwater Water Right No. G3-00984C. On November 20, 2024, SLH submitted an amendment to the GRAN-24-01 application. G3-00984C has historically been transferred on a seasonal basis; the purpose of this change application (as amended) is to make the once seasonal changes permanent, add an additional point of withdrawal, and correct an error in the current point of withdrawal location as documented on the G3-00984C certificate. That said right, G3-00984C, under priority date October 7, 1970, authorizes the withdrawal of 600 gallons per minute (gpm) and 150 acre-feet per year (AF/yr) for seasonal irrigation of 60 acres from one point of withdrawal well located within the SW¼ NW¼ of Section 3, T. 22 N., R. 29 E.W.M. on Grant County parcel 180470000. The existing place of use is 40 acres within the S½ NE¼ and 20 acres within the SE¼ SE¼ of Section 33, T. 23 N., R. 29 E.W.M. on Grant County parcel 180623000. Under GRAN-24-01, SLH is seeking to modify the place of use by retaining 32 acres in the S½ NE¼ of Section 33, and transferring: 6 acres to the SE¼ SE¼ of Section 33, 3 acres to the SE¼ SE¼ NW¼ of Section 33, and 19 acres to the NW¼ of Section 34, all being within T. 23 N., R. 29 E.W.M., Grant County Parcel numbers 180623000 and 180624000. An additional point of withdrawal is also proposed for construction within one of the following quarter-quarter sections on Grant County parcel numbers 180623000, 180624000, and 180627000: within the NE ¼ NE ¼ of Section 33, the NW ¼ NW ¼ of Section 34, or the NW ¼ NW ¼ of Section 35, all within T. 23 N., R.29 E.W.M.
