Sixkiller appointed WA director of Ecology
Casey Sixkiller was appointed the new director of the Washington State Department of Ecology. He will begin serving his term on Jan. 15, 2025, and said he plans on promoting sustainable practices that benefit Washington communities and ecosystems.
OLYMPIA – Governor-elect Bob Ferguson has appointed Casey Sixkiller as the 14th Director of the Washington State Department of Ecology, effective Jan. 15, 2025, according to an announcement from the governor-elect’s office.
