Ephrata PD
Aug. 22
Report of a suspicious person in orange prison jumpsuit. When subject was contacted, they said sorry and took off costume.
Report of theft on Cottage Street SE. Two subjects went to local pawnshop to sell jewelry. Pawn shop recognized the jewelry as stolen and contacted victim. Victim called police and police were able to recover jewelry.
Aug. 23
Report of two vehicle collision on D Street SW. Driver two said she was stopped in the left turn lane on 3rd Street SW facing west and vehicle one was behind her. Driver two said driver one bumped her rear bumper. Driver one denied hitting driver two.
Aug. 24
Report of threats in 300 block of Fifth Avenue SE. Reporting party said two juveniles were chasing him and trying to assault him before running away. Suspects were gone on police arrival.
Report of assault on Third Avenue SE. Reporting party was walking when two male subjects approached him, asked where he lived and tried to attack him. Victim said he was hit in the chest by one suspect. Suspects fled on foot southbound when victim threatened to call police.
Report of burglary at SplashZone concession stand. East facing roll up window had been forced open. Candy, ice cream and chips taken.
Report of theft at business on Nat Washington Way. Four female subjects suspected of previous theft in the business. All four contacted and detained. Suspects admitted to previous theft and theft on Aug. 24.
Report of harassment in the 1000 block of Basin Street SW at business. Reporting party said customer has been making unusual comments and harassing them for over a month. Male suspect trespassed from business, per owner's request.
Aug. 25
Report of theft of lantern style light on top of reporting party’s pole in yard, approximate value is $200. Reporting party had video.
Report of burglary at park restrooms. Forced entry to storage area. Public Works contacted and responded.
Aug. 26
Report of overdose on Fourth Avenue SW. Suspect said she was not feeling well and was not sure what or if she had taken anything. Police noticed suspect’s broken arm with severe swelling. Suspect taken to Columbia Basin Hospital via EMS.
Aug. 27
Report of brush fire. When police responded they saw fire west of Enterprise and north of Fifth Avenue SE Fire arrived and extinguished.
Report of cold package theft. Unknown suspect stole a package from doorstep. Reporting party provided photos of suspect and vehicle.
Aug. 28
Report of drugs at Ephrata Middle School. Reporting party said while checking the schools green hours they found a smoking device and a small baggie inside. Contents entered into evidence.
Moses Lake PD
Aug. 24
Report of theft at store on South Pioneer Way. The suspect was observed scanning items in self checkout and attempted to pay for the items with several cards. When he discovered he had no funds, he left with the items he selected without paying. He left in his vehicle. The suspect was identified and located at his residence. Probable cause for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.
Report of female suspect stealing items from business on North Stratford Road previously and on this date. Suspect trespassed from business.
Report of male subject doing drugs in bathroom at McCosh Park.
Report of suspect using drugs in the park by Library. Suspects gone on police arrival.
Report of approximately 50 people fighting on soccer field, both players and spectators. Involved parties separated on police arrival. After talking with referees, it was decided to end the game. Both teams understood and left without further incident.
Several windows broken at Longview Street NW. Possible suspect located.
Report of glass break alarm at business on W Valley Road. Officers discover broken windows at two businesses. Unknown suspect, video footage obtained.
Report of security camera stolen from outside apartment on E Ninth Avenue. Reporting party had video. Reporting party said camera valued at $45. Reporting party wants to pursue charges.
Aug. 25
Report of broken glass at business on W Valley Road. Building searched. Unknown suspect on video surveillance broke window with rock, kicked window in and entered. Probable cause for second-degree burglary and malicious misconduct. Suspect later located and booked.
Report of rear vehicle window broken with large rock in parking lot of business on N Stratford Road. Suspect contacted in area and booked into juvenile on an earlier burglary charge. Report to follow for second-degree trespassing and third-degree malicious misconduct.
Report of suspect filling two bags full of bulk candy at business on N Stratford Road and attempting to leave. Police permanently trespassed and business would like to pursue charges for third-degree theft.
Report of suspect throwing rocks and breaking windows at business on Evelyn Drive. Incident is on camera.
Report of broken glass on multiple vehicles on Longview Street NE.
Report of broken sunroof, busted rear windshield and a crack on front windshield on Highland Drive NE.
Aug. 26
Report of suspect stealing at business on N Stratford Road. Report to follow for third-degree theft. Suspect to be trespassed from business.
Report of subject slumped over driver seat at gas pump. Subject said he was sleeping. Subject advised to move his vehicle to parking spot.
Report of suspect inside store on N Stratford Road causing a scene and yelling at customers. Suspect gone on arrival. Officers contacted suspect and trespassed from location. Suspect refused to sign form.
Suspect found in possession of illegal drugs in parking lot at business on N Stratford Road. Vehicle impounded, pending search warrant, pending drug charges, pending test from Washington State Patrol lab.
Report of graffiti at park on East Truman Drive.
Report of theft at business on S Pioneer Way by a male and female suspect.
Reportable collision on City Street. Vehicle two was northbound on North Stratford Road in the left lane of travel. Vehicle one was in the left turn lane. Vehicle one turned in front of vehicle two. Driver one and witnesses reported vehicle one turned when the traffic light was blinking yellow. Vehicle one sustained damage to front passenger area. Vehicle two sustained damage to front. Both vehicles towed.
Report of tractor trailer vs. sedan on Wheeler Road NE and Road L NE.
Report of two vehicle collision with minor injuries at W. Columbia and C Street. Causing driver cited for failure to yield and no insurance. Both vehicles towed.
Aug. 27
Report of male possibly stabbed and bleeding. Police arrived and male had wound on neck and side of face. Male said he fell and nothing occurred. Witness states male’s girlfriend was following him yelling and when he returned male was bleeding. Male was not willing to cooperate with police. Police could not determine if crime occurred or if it was an accident.
Report of theft by female in business on S Pioneer Way. Female placed items in purse and fled north on Pioneer Way. Officers checked area and did not locate
Report of damage to property at Cascade Park and theft of park manager’s keys.
Report of a vehicle hit while reporting party shopping in business on N Stratford Road. Officers identified driver and vehicle involved. While officers were still at business, driver returned to the parking lot. Officers contacted driver and documented damage to vehicle. Report of suspect stealing for the third time at Ulta Beauty.
Report of apartment door unlocked and open at W Third avenue. Reporting party said this is an ongoing issues and the apartment manager has been notified. Only a couple dollars in cash missing.
Report of stolen purse at N Clover Drive. Reporting party said purse contained multiple credit cards, banks checks, prescription glasses, identification and several bills to pay. Reporting party received alert that a card was used at a Chevron and denied. All cards now shut off and all banks and credit card companies notified.
Report of erratic vehicle in the area of SR 17 and S Pioneer Way. Located vehicle at Yonezawa Boulevard and South Division Street. Driver arrested for DUI and booked into Grant County Jail.
Report of stabbing at business on N. Stratford Road. Victim transported to hospital. Victim uncooperative. Unknown suspect.
Report of subject in the bathroom with bloody shoes at business on N Stratford Road, related to above stabbing. Subject asked to leave per store manager.

Latecia Oregie Perez, 37, Moses Lake, booked on Grant County Superior Court warrant for manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine and Grant County District Court warrant for driving under the influence and third-degree driving with license suspended.
