John Campbell

John R. Campbell was born Aug. 17, 1935, in Mesa, Ariz., to Dave and Genevia (Stansberry) Campbell.  

In the mid 1940's the family moved to Grant County, Wash. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1955. He then served in the U.S. Army. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.  

John had a love for travel and going camping. He loved baseball games and watched NASCAR. He enjoyed teasing all the kids. He had a fondness for dogs. He fancied his cocktail hour. 

He is survived by his wife Winona Campbell. He also is survived by three brothers, one sister, several kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, five sisters and three grandsons.

    John R. Campbell was born in Arizona but spent the majority of his life in Washington. He loved baseball and NASCAR, but more importantly, he loved his family.
