James Stanley Friend
James Stanley Friend passed away in late July in a car accident. He leaves behind a loving family who will miss his smile and the bright spirit he brought to their lives.
James Stanley Friend, aged 22, passed away tragically in a car accident July 26, 2024.
James was born March 5, 2002, to Gary Friend and Renea Molina in Moses Lake, Wash. He grew up in the small town of Marlin, Wash., with his sisters, Micayla Friend and Maggie Friend Foultner. He was the youngest child of the three and always the entertaining "wild child," according to his sisters.
James had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a hand to help others. He loved animals and couldn't bear to see one suffer. His dog, Stoney, was his closest companion who never left his side. Though his journey was marked by challenges, those who knew James will remember him for his sensitivity, warm heart and bright spirit.
James is survived by his mom, Renea Molina (Israel Molina), sister Micayla Friend (Dustin Foster), niece Everly, nephew Baylor, sister Maggie Friend Foultner (Hunter Foultner), nephew Bentley and niece Camdyn, Grandma Patricia Friend, Grandma Sandra Cole, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. James is preceded in death by his dad, Gary Friend, Grandpa James Friend and Grandpa Stanley Ball.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Kayser's Chapel of Memories at 1 p.m.
