PORT OF MOSES LAKE NOTICE FOR RESOLUTION 1453 CONSIDERATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Port of Moses Lake will meet at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, May 13, 2024 to consider comments and to consider Resolution NO. 1453 to establish the tax increment financing area for the public improvements in the Port of Moses Lake Tax Increment Area. Request for Qualifications – Airport Consulting Services Warden Airport Grant County Port District No. 8 is requesting interested firms to submit qualifications for on-call airport consulting services for the Warden Airport. Grant County Port District No. 8 will retain the services of an engineering consultant for a period of five (5) years to provide professional engineering, surveying, testing, grant preparation and administration assistance, consulting, planning, and construction inspection for, but not limited to, the following projects (or project components): 1. Runway, taxiway, and apron construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance. 2. Access service road construction. 3. Drainage construction and rehabilitation. 4. Airport planning and environmental studies. 5. Security fencing and access controls. 6. Lighting, signing, and navaids. 7. Update Airport Layout Plan. 8. Other miscellaneous airport improvements. The scale, duration and number of projects are uncertain and may vary significantly during any given year. Key personnel’s professional background and qualifications including the project team for possible projects. Include only those people which will be assigned to the projects at the Warden Airport. 5. Knowledge of Airport Standards and Policies. SELECTION The selection of the firm to do the work will be made by Port Commissioners. After the deadline for receipt of qualifications, the Commissioners will review the qualifications. If deemed necessary by the Commissioners, firms may be invited for interviews. The final selection of the firm with which to negotiate a contract will be made by the Commissioners. Grant County Port District No. 8 reserves the right, during the five (5) year contract period, to occasionally work with other airport consultant firms for projects requiring expertise that may be outside the selected firm’s area of expertise.
